Leonore Wilson and Susan Kolodny Read at the John Natsoulas Gallery December 1st at 8PM

The Poetry Night Reading Series is proud to welcome Leonore Wilson and Susan Kolodny on Thursday, December 1st at 8 P.M. They will be performing at the John Natsoulas Gallery at 521 1st Street.

Leonore Wilson received her B.A. and M.A. in English and Creative Writing at UC Davis, and has taught at various colleges in the Bay Area for over twenty years.  She has been the recipient of various grants and fellowships through Villa Montalvo Center for the Arts and the University of Utah. Her work has been featured in magazines as California Quarterly, Quarterly West, Madison Review, Trivia: Voices of Feminism, Nimble Spirit, and Third Coast. Her most recent book, Winter Solstice, was released this year. She resides in Napa with her family.

 

Susan Kolodny is a psychoanalyst who specializes in work with artists and writers. Her poetry has appeared in several magazines and anthologies, including the New England Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, Marlboro Review,  and  River Styx. Her first poetry collection, After the Firestorm, has just been published by Mayapple Press.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early at the John Natsoulas Gallery to secure a seat, and to sign up for a spot on the Open Mic list. The Poetry Night Reading Series, organized and hosted by Andy Jones,occurs on the first and third Thursday of every month at the John Natsoulas Gallery.
