Winner of the 2009 Caesura Poetry Contest and the 2009 Dirty Napkin Cover Prize, Connie Post was the first Poet Laureate of Livermore. Post is the author of Floodwater(2014) and four poetry chapbooks, including And When the Sun Drops,which received the Aurorean Editors Chapbook Choice Award for Fall 2012. Connie Post’s poems have been featured in many journals as well as the anthologies First Water Best of Pirene’s Fountain(2013), A Bird As Black as the Sun(2012), Marin Poetry Center Anthology(2010 and 2012), When the Muse Calls(2010), and the Marin Poetry Center Anthology(2008).
