April Ranger was the Individual Champion at the 2009 NorthBeast Regional Slam, and was 2010’s Individual World Poetry Slam Representative for the Hampshire Slam Collective. She has featured at the Boston Poetry Slam, the Emerson Poetry Project, and Hampshire’s own Cantab Lounge. The Hampshire Slam Collective says of her, “To call April Ranger a ‘rising star’ would be like calling the Space Shuttle a bottle rocket.”
