Our March 20th, World Storytelling Day, Poetry Night will feature an evening with renowned local storyteller Michael Todd Gallowglas. We meet at 7 PM at the John Natsoulas Gallery, 521 1st Street in Davis, and we hope you can join us!
Michael Todd Gallowglas is a creative writer with MFAs in poetry and fiction with over 30 book credits to his name across fiction, poetry, and non-fiction. His most recent publications include Dance Among the Lighting Bolts, book four in his Tears of Rage sequence, The Four Principles of Engaging Writing, and The Re-Imagined Princess – an epic fairy tale in verse that explores the heroine’s journey and the relationship between children and their imaginary friends, releasing on March 20th, World Story Day. The open mic tonight starts at 8. Performers will be asked to limit what they share to two items or four minutes, whichever is shorter. The open mic list is typically full by 6:45. People who show up early to help set up chairs will always earn a spot on the open mic list.
