Open Mic Night at the John Natsoulas Gallery in Davis
January 7th at 8PM
In celebration of the new year, The Poetry Night Reading Series welcomes all poets and performers to an Open Mic Night on Thursday, January 7th. The open mic list will be available at 7:30, with the first performer taking the stage at 8 P.M. at the John Natsoulas Gallery, 521 1st Street in Davis.
Davis Poet Laureate Dr. Andy Jones will be hosting the evening, and encourages you to bring your poetry to perform. All styles of poetry, short theatre, and music are welcome. Readers are encouraged to bring up to two poems, or perform for up to five minutes—whichever is shorter.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early at the John Natsoulas Gallery to secure a seat, and to sign up for a spot on the Open Mic list. The Poetry Night Reading Series, hosted and produced by Davis Poet Laureate Dr. Andy Jones, occurs on the first and third Thursday of every month at the John Natsoulas Gallery.
