Poetry Reading on May 15th at the John Natsoulas Gallery: The OPEN MIC Edition
On Thursday, May 15th, at 8 PM at the John Natsoulas Gallery (521 First Street, Davis), the Poetry Night Reading Series is pleased to welcome YOU!
That’s right! This edition of the Poetry Night Reading Series will be 100% OPEN MIC. Whether you’re a veteran at the mic or thinking about sharing your art with the Davis community for the first time, this event is for you. All artists are welcome— poets, musicians, storytellers, comedians, you name it. Each performer will be allotted two pieces or five minutes, whichever is shortest.
The after-party will begin around 10 PM. You are encouraged to arrive early to secure a seat, and to sign up for a spot on the Open Mic List.
The Poetry Night Reading Series—coordinated and hosted by Dr. Andy Jones, produced by Lane Berger, and with the creative assistance of Carly Voris— takes place at the John Natsoulas Gallery on the first and third Thursday of every month. Poetry Night at the John Natsoulas Gallery is an entirely volunteer-run affair.
