Please join us at 8pm on Thursday, May 7th at the John Natsoulas Gallery for a Poetry Night Reading Series event featuring Grant Faulkner.
Grant Faulkner is the executive director of National Novel Writing Month, co-founder of the journal 100 Word Story, and author of the new collection titled Fissures: One Hundred 100-Word Stories.
Faulkner is an accomplished writer, with works published in The New York Times, Poets & Writers, Writer’s Digest, The Southwest Review, The Rumpus, Gargoyle, The Berkeley Fiction Review, Puerto del Sol, Revolver, eclectica, The Cortland Review, PANK, Superstition Review, The Green Mountain Review, and more.
He earned his B.A. from Grinnell College in English and an M.A. in Creative Writing from the San Francisco State University.
His collection of one hundred 100-word stories, Fissures, is coming out in the Spring of 2015 with Press 53. He has also published a novel, The Traveler, and a collection of short stories, The Comfort Sin Provides. Find out more about Grant Faulkner at http://www.grantfaulkner.com.

Grant Faulkner will perform starting at 8 PM. The open mic will begin at 9 PM, and the after-party at de Vere’s Irish Pub will start at 10 PM. You are encouraged to arrive early to secure a seat and to sign up for a spot on the Open Mic List.
